Or Tourist symbol of Vitebsk - on production of the Vitebsk enterprises
The official delegation from Vitebsk has visited April in the Swedish. Visby on island Gotland. Within two days partners on tripartite Belarus-Latvia-Swedan to the project « the Panorama: Dvina / Daugava » discussed prospects of the further cooperation.
On June, 2, 2008 Vitebsk has signed with the Swedish county Gotland the second contract about cooperation for uncertain term (the first has been signed in 1229).

W ithin the framework of visit of delegation from Vitebsk and Daugavpils have visited a number(line) of the organizations and the enterprises on Gotland where are guided by a saying: « that is good for Gotland, is good for you and your enterprise ».
In 2007 the trade mark "Gotland" has been developed and accepted. And last two years the primary goal was to strengthen this mark in the Swedish market, to advertise Gotland within the framework of Sweden.

Public organization « Tillvaxt Gotland » (« To grow, Gotland »), supporting steady development in region, - Gotland are six weeks of holiday in the middle of summer(years) with beaches and the sun. « Tillvaxt Gotland » - one of seven public organizations on Gotland, and they carry out all projects both for a membership dues, and for the means allocated by administration of Gotland. All these organizations work within the framework of the state program of Sweden on development of regions. In Gotland this program in abbreviated form refers to RTP. Three branches which on island would like to press in full force is a public life, attendance of island and profile products.

 In Gotland tourist office have told to visitors, that with attendance of island in years(summer) months of problems is not present - from 200 up to 450 thousand person monthly. As the coordinator of the project « the Panorama has told Lenard Eddlund : Dvina / Daugava », within the framework of the project this year is stipulated to realize 24 concrete projects, among which creation of a website Mark Shagal/Mark Rotko, choral festival, an exchange of schoolboys and students, a seminar on ýêîòóðèçìó, adjustment of business - attitudes, culinary competition. And on October, 21-22 in
Vitebsk final conference under the project which lasts since 2005 and which basic purpose - to stimulate a transboundary exchange will pass.
